Chart of Raymond Cattell's 16PF
Raymond Cattell's 16PF is a questionnaire that measures major personality traits. These traits (or factors) were discovered by analyzing thousands of adjectives that describe human behaviour. Some of the original factors were dropped (D, J, K) and others were later added (Q1-Q4) resulting in the following sixteen. The first chart shows how the 16 factors can be further narrowed into the Global 5 Supertraits (see also The Big Five ) and the second outlines each factor in detail.
